I am a development and marketing professional who is continually inspired and driven by my profound regard for social justice and the impact that “just one, then another” can make!
After receiving BA’s in both Politics & Society and Art History and then a MA in non-profit management, I have worked and accomplished much in both non-profit and corporate sectors. Overall, I have concentrated my enthusiasm to the field of non-profits for over 10 years due to the great passion I have for altruistic and proactive social enterprises. These range from organizations that focus on health, social services and the arts: most notably, the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, the Special Olympics of Southern California, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the San Francisco Arts Commission Art Gallery.
It is with great joy that I support the YWCA Greater Los Angeles’ mission to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. I have found a home with the YWCA, an organization with heart and healing and a wide spectrum of dynamic, empowering social and economic programming solutions. In my role, I continually advocate and communicate in order to support this programming and operation of our community centers throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. I build and sustain relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations in order to create fulfilling and meaningful experiences for people interested in participating in close partnership with our organization.
I invite you to contact me directly to learn more about how you too can support the YWCA Greater Los Angeles!
